Lauren has 16 years of clinical experience working with local sporting teams, and weekend warriors up to Olympic athletes. Lauren studied Physiotherapy at Newcastle University and has since completed her Master of Sports Physiotherapy through La Trobe University. She is currently studying a Master of Research and undertaking a PhD at Macquarie University as well as sitting as a registrar in the 2 year specialisation training program with the Australian College of Physiotherapists. Specialisation is conferred to physiotherapists who have attained the highest level of expertise in their particular field.

She has extensive experience in throwing sports such as softball, baseball and cricket and has worked as a physiotherapist at the Commonwealth Games.

Her special interest areas are:

• Complex sports injuries
• Shoulder pain, both acute and chronic conditions, particularly those associated with overhead sports including throwing and swimming.
• Post-op Shoulder rehabilitation
• Tendon Pain
• Hip and Knee Conditions

Lauren’s fees represent her extensive experience and education. Her 2024 consultation fees are:
1 Hour Initial = $195
40min Follow up = $155

Personal

Outside of work, Lauren is a busy and active wife, and mum of 3 children and 2 beagles. She loves connecting with the community through sports and social activities, you will usually catch her at the playing fields or a local cafe.
