OVERVIEW

Andrew Clark is a father of 4 and the Director and Clinical Educator at Clinical Physiotherapy, St Ives.

He graduated with a Masters degree from the University of Sydney in 2010 and has extensive experience working in musculoskeletal private practice. He has undergone further professional development and has experience treating a wide variety of patients and musculoskeletal conditions. Andrew started the St Ives clinic in 2016 and enjoys the roles and challenges that come with owning a small business and training and leading a healthcare team.

​In his spare time, Andrew keeps fit with running and resistance training, gets to the odd Sydney Swans game and most of all enjoys spending lazy Sundays with his wife Bridget and beautiful kids Sophie, Harry, Angus and Thomas.

OVERVIEW

Stephen Andreazza joined the Clinical Physiotherapy, St Ives team in 2017.

Stephen completed his Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney in 2012, following a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise & Sports Science. In the pursuit of advancing his clinical knowledge and skills to better treat his patients, he undertook a Masters of Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, which he completed in 2016. Stephen was awarded a certificate of Academic Excellence upon graduation.

Stephen has over 12 years’ experience in the private practice setting as well as a sporting background in Athletics, as a national level 100m and 200m sprinter. This has seen him develop a keen interest in treating a wide variety of both sporting and musculoskeletal conditions.

In his spare time, Stephen keeps fit with strength training in the gym and working on his building his garden at home. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Georgia and sons Liam and Zac.

OVERVIEW

Mikaela graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Australian Catholic University in October 2018. Mikaela completed her last 5-Week practical placement at Clinical Physiotherapy with a High Distinction, under the guidance of our Principal Physiotherapist, Andrew. She joined the team as a Level 1 Physiotherapist in 2019 and achieved the clinical care standards year on year to progress to her current standing as a Level 5 Physiotherapist.

Mikaela has competed internationally in the Maccabiah Games as a swimmer and understands the demands of a competitive athlete and how injuries can affect athletic progression and performance.

In her spare time, Mikaela enjoys spending time with Husband Hayden and their son, Hugo as well as swimming, keeping active and exploring yummy dessert bars!

OVERVIEW

Hayden graduated in 2018 after he completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University.  He was presented with a Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence at graduation. This followed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science at Sydney Uni in 2014 and a Cert IV in Massage Therapy in 2015.

With a long history as a rugby and cricket player, Hayden has had his fair share of sporting injuries, including a shoulder reconstruction. Having so often been the patient, he understands both the intense desire to return to sport and the rehabilitation process well.

In his spare time, Hayden enjoys spending time with wife Mikaela and their son Hugo, training at the gym, running and if there’s time left, watching the cricket and rugby.

OVERVIEW

Hannah is a Level 2 Physiotherapist, having graduated with Honours in 2022. She conducted her Thesis on the management of Knee Osteoarthritis.

Hannah completed her final practical placement at Clinical Physiotherapy with a High Distinction, under the guidance of our Clinical Educator, Andrew Clark. She has also undertaken training in Clinical Pilates.

Having played a variety of sports and worked with the Sydney Swans AFL and AFLW teams, Hannah understands the demands of a competitive athlete and the desire to return to sport and prevent injury.

In her spare time, Hannah enjoys going to the gym, doing pilates classes, spending time at the snow or the beach and going to the footy.

OVERVIEW

Jessica joined the Clinical Physiotherapy St Ives clinic in 2017.

She graduated from New Zealand’s Auckland University of Technology in 2012, with a Bachelor of Applied Health Science (Physiotherapy). She first gained experience in a private hospital and has since extended her interest into Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Women’s Health and Clinical Pilates. Jessica has also completed a Certificate in Spinal Manual Therapy, making her highly skilled in treating spinal conditions. She is very passionate about helping chronic back pain sufferers regain their movement and quality of life.

Outside of the clinic, you will find Jess hanging with her son Walter, running around Narrabeen lake, with pram and dog “Rollo” in tow, or hitting a HITT class at the gym.

OVERVIEW

Maya completed her Bachelors of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) degree at The University of Sydney in 2019 and has been working in private clinics since.

Maya enjoys treating a range of musculoskeletal conditions including acute sports injuries, fracture management and post-surgical rehabilitation. Maya has a special interest in ACL injuries, and with her own recent ACL reconstruction surgery she brings deeper insights and a greater understanding to the rehabilitation process. Maya has also worked with a variety of sporting teams including Gladesville Hornsby Football Association, Hawkesbury City Netball Association, Football NSW, East Coast Eagles AFL and Knox Rugby.

Outside of the clinic, Maya loves to stay active by training at the gym, going for hikes, or playing netball.

OVERVIEW

Hannah Rasmussen joined the Clinical Physiotherapy, St Ives team in May 2024.

Hannah graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Charles Stuart University with Distinction in 2022 after completing a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Sydney. Additionally, Hannah has obtained qualifications in Pilates and Strength and Conditioning through the ASCA. It is through these qualifications that she has gained the clinical experience necessary to educate and empower patients to regain function and recover from pain.

After 2 years at the highly regarded Spine and Pelvis clinic in Queensland, Hannah returned to Sydney to join the Clinical Physiotherapy team.

In Hannah’s free time she loves to go on outdoor hikes around Sunshine Coast, travel around Australia and the occasional surf.

Jasen Winny

OVERVIEW

Jasen joined the Clinical Physiotherapy, St Ives team in June 2024. He first graduated from Macquarie University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Human Sciences majoring in Human Movement. He then completed the Doctor of Physiotherapy at Bond University, graduating with Distinction and was placed on the Deans list for Academic excellence in 2024.

He grew up swimming competitively, competing in several national championships. He understands how the high physical demands associated with training and competition can influence injury and impact performance.

Jasen has an interest in sports injuries, Orthopaedic Prehab & Post-op Rehabilitation.

Outside of the clinic, Jasen enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. You’ll find him at the beach either surfing or walking his dogs. He also enjoys boxing, mountain biking and skiing in winter.
